Based on your understanding of reflective essays, write a two- or three-paragraph reflective essay about an important incident in your life (dad teaching me how to ride a bike) I will give brainlyest if you make it sound believable an make it 2 to 3 paragraphs
Answer:
When I was younger, I was very afraid of falling off and hurting myself on a bike. I had seen my friends and family scar and bleed over bike accidents, and it scared me. I couldn't balance very well and I had to use training wheels for years. Multiple people (my aunt, grandma, mom) tried to teach me, but they can be pretty neurotic so it wasn't very helpful. Then one day, after joking to my dad about horrible bike skills, my dad decided to try and teach me.
At first, I said no, because I felt like it was embarrassing to not know how to ride a bike at my age. He eventually convinced me, though. The beginning was very difficult. I kept wobbling and he had to hold me while I rode (without training wheels! Scary.) I fell off twice and even gave myself a tiny scratch. My dad said to calm down, as I was getting upset. He pulled me aside to sit for a while, and explained a bit more about how he learned to ride a bike, and how he struggled too. So, I got back on. It took me a few more tries, but I eventually got it. I'm really good at it, too.
This experience has taught me a lot for being so simple. It gave me the impression that staying calm, thinking, and trying your hardest really does count. Having those who support and encourage you are important too. That's how I succeeded, and will continue to succeed.

C. A metaphor that compares two things that are extremely different
from each other.
D. A metaphor that uses the word of, as in "the velvet of the bird's
head."
Implied metaphor is a metaphor in which one of the things being compared is not directly named. So the correct answer is option A.
What do you mean by implied metaphor?
A sort of metaphor known as an implied metaphor compares two dissimilar objects without specifically naming one of them. They differ slightly from ordinary metaphors in that they don't make it clear what they're comparing. In their writing, authors might use implied metaphors to convey vivid imagery. Sometimes drawing a connection that paints a clear image is a simple leap to make. Sometimes the indicated comparison pauses for a second. Since the author never clearly states these inferred metaphors, they are completely up for discussion.
It is necessary to separate the terms "implied metaphor" into its two components, "implied" and "metaphor." The latter is one of the figurative language styles that is most frequently employed in literature. Without using "like" or "as," the writer contrasts two dissimilar objects. Whether or whether it is true, this comparison implies that one item is like another. It enables readers to approach concepts differently.
Implied metaphor is a metaphor in which one of the things being compared is not directly named. So the correct answer is option A.

Select the sentences from the passage that best show that the cataracts had a positive effect on the Egyptian economy.
At Aswan, the cataract system established a natural border between Egypt from its neighbour to the south, Nubia. Ancient Egypt had four distinct geographic zones and was situated in northeastern Africa.
What impact did cataracts have on trade in Egypt?First and foremost, they served as a natural physical barrier that constrained the amount of power Egypt could project up and down the Nile since it was challenging to transport things past the rapids, making it challenging to trade and construct. In actuality, the word "cataract" is derived from the Greek word katarakts, which signifies the fall of water and also refers to the opacity of the lens.

Assignment - Reflection on the Debates
Assignment
This assignment is worth 10% of your final grade for this course. This is not a team assignment but is an
individual assignment.
Directions:
While you are in this class, you are expected to write a reflection that clearly demonstrates you have thought
about the debates you saw in class. Before you begin to write, ask yourself a series of questions, such as: how do I
feel about my experience of today? How does it affect me? If the concepts we discussed did not affect you, why not?
How does this experience relate to your life or your program of study? Does your experience lend itself to a
comparison and what you have learned in this class? How does it impact your views of the world? How has it
changed your beliefs or ways of thinking? Notice that the questions are all personal. That is because this assignment
requires you to express your own insights. Do not limit yourself to these questions. Explore different ways to state
your opinion. In other words, a Reflection is designed to show your knowledge and, more importantly, your
awareness of how you constructed that knowledge. More than anything else, this is an assignment that will show
what you have learned about critical thinking, therefore it demonstrates depth of thought and not the breadth of your
experience.

Enumerate the writer’s use of paradox, irony, symbol, plot,
characterization, and style of narration. Do any of these relate to one
another or to the theme.
send help guys!!!! thank you
Hi. You did not submit the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered. However, I will try and help as best I can.
To answer this question you will need to read all the text related to it. After doing this reading, you will then identify the theme of the text, which is the message, the lesson which the text wants to convey to the reader. The devices used in the text must be related to this theme, highlighting it and leaving it more profound and impactful.
In relation to artifices, the author will use irony when presenting a situation different from what was expected, a situation that is unexpected for the characters, but known by the reader, or even a situation that intends to criticize something in a jocular way. Symbolism will be presented in a text when the author seeks to convey meaning through objects and elements presented in the story. The paradox will be presented when the author presents two elements that contradict each other in the same element of the story.
The plot of a story corresponds to the whole story and the way it was organized. Character characterization can be direct (when the character's characteristics are presented directly by the narrator) or indirect (when the character's characteristics are presented in an indirect way, by the character's actions or behaviors). The narration style can be omniscient (when the narrator knows all the elements, situations, story events and thoughts of all the characters) or limited (when the narrator only knows some elements related to a character and the events that that character participates). The narration can also be in first person (when the narrator is a character in the story) or in third person (when the narrator is not a character, but an observer of the story).
