Question: Why is musical notation important? What benefits do musicians and others receive from being able to write a musical idea down?
My Answer (so far): Musical notation is important because it tells the person reading it how to play the music. When a composer writes down the musical notation for their piece of music, they could hand that sheet of music to someone else and that person would know how to play it because the notations show what notes to play, the tempo to play them at, and the dynamics of the music. One benefit that comes from being able to write music down is that the composer can look back at their notes and play the song, and if someone else wanted to play the song they could read the notations.

how does pablo picasso portray the women of les demoiselles d'avignon?
Pablo Picasso portrays the women of Les Demoiselles d'Avignon with bold and unconventional artistic techniques.
In Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, Pablo Picasso revolutionized the representation of women in art. The painting, created in 1907, depicts five female figures in a brothel setting. Picasso's portrayal of these women is characterized by angular and fragmented forms, challenging traditional notions of beauty and femininity.
The women in the painting are shown with distorted and mask-like faces, emphasizing their primitive and confrontational presence. Their bodies are depicted in a highly abstracted manner, with sharp angles and geometric shapes, reflecting Picasso's interest in African and Iberian art, as well as the influence of the emerging Cubist movement.Picasso's treatment of the female figures in Les Demoiselles d'Avignon subverts traditional ideals of beauty and challenges the male gaze prevalent in art at the time. By portraying the women with sharp edges and angular features, Picasso disrupts the notion of softness and sensuality often associated with female representation. Instead, he presents a more complex and confrontational vision of femininity.
The women in Les Demoiselles d'Avignon are not passive objects of desire but assertive and powerful subjects. Picasso's portrayal of their bodies and faces reflects a sense of agency and autonomy, offering a bold departure from conventional depictions of women in art. The painting's radical approach to form and subject matter had a profound impact on the development of modern art, paving the way for new artistic movements and challenging established norms.

how to get a deeper voice?
Is it possible to get a deeper voice?
To truly deepen your voice, you'll need to commit to daily vocal exercises that stretch your ability to speak in a lower pitch. It takes three to four weeks before you start to hear marginal differences in depth.
Speak after taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your abdomen. Speaking from your diaphragm will make it easier for you to project, and your voice will sound a little bit deeper. Instead of using your nose to talk, try using your mouth.
How to make your voice deeper naturally?Hormonal medication and surgery are the only surefire ways to deepen your voice, and those options are a bit extreme for those looking for a small drop in pitch.
Deep voices give males an impression of strength and seductiveness, according to research. Men are more likely to be viewed as beautiful, macho, respectable, and dominant when they have low, resonant voices.

PLS DUE TODAY, ASAP Mention the note(s) that is/are affected in the following keys? (a) C major (b) D major (c) F major (d) F# major (e) E major
Answer:
a) no sharps or flats
b) F#, C#
c) B♭
d) F#, C#, G#, D#, A#, E#
e) F#, C#, G#, D#
Explanation:
There is a certain rule for finding what's in a key signature:
Firstly, memorize the fact that C Major has no sharps or flats, and F Major contains a B♭.
For sharps (#), Count 1 note behind the given letter:
Ex. E Major -> D (indicator letter)
Now follow this pneumonic device "Fat Cat Go Down Alley Eating Bolagna" for the order of sharps, FCGDAEB
The order of sharps is indicated by the letter that you counted back from the original key. Simply follow the order of sharps until you've reached your 'indicator letter'
Ex. E Major -> D (indicator letter) so the order of sharps is FCGD, or F#, C#, G#, D#

what was japan’s goal in the pacific - why did they decide not to take part of soviet siberia?
Japan continued to have imperial objectives and sought to establish a "New Order in East Asia". They avoided Soviet Siberia because, following the signature of the Non-Aggression Pact in 1939, Germany now supported the Soviets.
The Japanese Imperial Navy controlled islands in the western Pacific Ocean after its Pearl Harbor attack. In order to ensure its control over East Asia and the southwest Pacific, Japan set out to build a defensive buffer against attacks from the United States and its allies. The Japanese Imperial Navy was no longer able to launch significant offensive campaigns as a result of the US strategic wins at the Battles of the Coral Sea and Midway, which allowed the Allies to launch their own offensive in the Pacific.
The most well-known non-aggression pact is likely the Molotov-Ribbentrop Agreement, which was signed in 1939 by Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Up to the German Operation Barbarossa attack on the Soviet Union in 1941, the Non-Aggression Pact was in effect. Such agreements, however, might be a means of thwarting a possible military threat, allowing at least one signatory to divert its military resources to other uses. The Molotov-Ribbentrop Agreement, as an illustration, released German troops from the Russian front. However, the Soviet-Japanese Neutrality Pact, which was struck on April 13, 1941, eliminated the threat posed by Japan in the east and allowed the Soviets to transfer a significant amount of force from Siberia to the struggle against the Germans, directly influencing the Battle of Moscow.

Which of the following ideas did Vincent van Gogh attempt to communicate in his Starry Night?
a. Stygian darkness of night
b. Birth of a galaxy
c. Vastness of the universe
d. Myopia of humanity
Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night attempts to communicate the vastness of the universe. Through his use of swirling brushstrokes and vibrant colors, van Gogh depicts a starry night sky that seems to go on forever. The correct answer is option (c).
The painting also features a prominent cypress tree, which some art historians believe is meant to symbolize the idea of human life reaching towards the heavens. This interpretation reinforces the idea that van Gogh was attempting to convey the vastness and mystery of the universe, and the human desire to understand it.
While the painting does contain elements of darkness and mystery, such as the crescent moon and darkened village below, these are balanced by the overall sense of wonder and beauty that van Gogh captures. In this way, Starry Night can be seen as a celebration of the universe's majesty and a reminder of humanity's place within it.
