Answers

Answer:

The letter outlines that the Seminoles faced certain death in Florida by starvation or warfare.

Explanation:

Answer:

Explanation:

The purpose of this letter is to inform the Seminole that they must move from their ancestral land to the Indian Territory beyond the Mississippi River. President Jackson refers to the Seminole as "my children" to emphasize his power and authority over them as the president of the United States.

In terms of truth, Jackson was correct in saying that the United States had acquired the land in Florida through a treaty with Spain, and that the Seminole were living on that land illegally. However, he was not telling the truth when he said that the move was necessary to protect the Seminole from white settlers, as the real motive was to open up the land for white settlement and expansion.

The Seminole experience during Indian removal was similar to other Native American groups in that they were forcibly removed from their ancestral land, had to endure a long and dangerous journey to the Indian Territory, and faced many hardships along the way. However, the Seminole were more resistant to removal than other tribes and engaged in a long and costly war with the United States known as the Seminole Wars, which lasted from 1817 to 1858. Additionally, many Seminole were able to resist removal and remain in Florida, while others fled to the Everglades and continued to resist U.S. government efforts to relocate them.

The Normandy invasion was a significant turning point during the war.

Germany experienced the most casualties during the Normandy invasion.

and possibly The number of German casualties and their previous losses likely made it difficult for Germany to recover. but im not 100% sure I hope this helps

I think France had the strongest military during WWII, because the German Invasion of France during 1940 was a easy win for Hitler and Germany. But again, it could be strategy, not man-power. I also don’t think Canada played a huge roll in the War. I think they joined because the UK was in the war and so did other Commonwealth Countries, like Australia. The main key players in WWII were probably the Soviet Union and the United States. France still existed under Nazi rule (though it was called Vichy France) and was probably a key player too. The Allied Invasion of Normandy was a big turning point in the War, and Germany did see a lot of casualties, so I think the answer is the first two scenarios; the Normandy invasion was a significant turning point during the war and Germany experienced the most casualties during the Normandy invasion.

How did South Carolina’s decision to secede affect Louisiana and the rest of the southern states?
A) It had an insignificant effect on other states because they had voted to secede prior to South Carolina’s decision.
B) It caused other states to feel pressure to make a decision on the issue of slavery. C)It made Louisiana and other southern states remain undecided and feel South Carolina moved too quickly.
D) It led to most southern states experiencing an increase in outbreaks of violence over the issue.

Answers

Answer:

Im not 100% sure so if im wrong im sorry i think its B

Explanation:

When South Carolina seceded from the Union, the action was the first domino to fall so to speak. Emboldened by the South Carolina decision, the other states that would eventually make up the Confederate States of America- Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas and Tennessee- followed this example and broke away from the U.S.

South Carolina’s decision to secede affected Louisiana and the rest of the southern states as it caused other states to feel pressure to make a decision on the issue of slavery. Thus, option B is correct.

What is a state?

A state is a group of people who have come together and are actively governing a given area. A nation is a group of people who are politically united and live in a specific area. A government's region or one of its areas is termed as a state.

South Carolina’s decision affected all other states. The decision was that the people of the slaves would now be independent and free. Therefore the other countries feel the pressure that they also need to abolish slavery within their state. But they were not ready to do so. Therefore, option B is the correct option.

how many years difference is there between 1524 CE and 1436 BCE

Answers

Answer:

2960

Explanation:

you have to calculate the amount of years in common era to 1524 which is 1524 and add 1436 and get 2960.

Answer is 2960 years, Before the year 1 CE, or the Common Era, is what BCE, or Before Common Era, and BC, or Before Christ, respectively, refer to.

What’s the Difference between BCE and CE ?

The terms "common (or current) era" (CE) and "before the common (or current) period") are used interchangeably. Compared to BC and AD, these abbreviations have a shorter history, although they are nevertheless at least as old as the early 1700s.

Jewish academics have used them frequently for more than a century, but their use spread as the 20th century progressed, replacing BC/AD in a variety of sectors, most notably science and academia.

Hence, in order to calculate years difference, we just have to add both 1524 and 1436 and the sum will be the difference i.e. 2960 years.

(Douglas)

Which of the following quotes best expresses his viewpoint? Half-slave, half-free labor cannot, in my opinion, be sustained by this government indefinitely. Describe how the chosen quotation demonstrates Lincoln's viewpoint. According to his prediction, the only way the nation will "endure" or endure is if everyone enjoys their freedom and there are no opposing sides. What is a fact or event from history that supports Abraham Lincoln's viewpoint? Slavery was abolished when the 13th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified, and it has remained so ever since. America is still around today.

Lincoln's point of view regarding the future of the country is that the United States cannot remain permanently divided between slave states and free states. He believes that the nation must either become all slave states or all free states, and he advocates for the eventual extinction of slavery through the non-extension of slavery into new territories.

Selected Quote: "A house divided against itself cannot stand."

Explanation: This quote from Lincoln's speech reflects his point of view on the future of the country. By referring to the nation as a "house divided against itself," Lincoln implies that the ongoing division between slave states and free states is unsustainable and poses a significant threat to the stability and unity of the United States. He is warning against the perpetuation of this division and suggesting that the country must ultimately decide on the future of slavery, either allowing it to spread further or limiting its expansion for eventual extinction.

Douglas's Point of View regarding the Constitution:

Douglas's point of view regarding the Constitution is that each territory should have the right to determine its stance on slavery through popular sovereignty, regardless of whether it aligns with the Dred Scott decision or not. He argues that the territories should be allowed to decide the slavery question for themselves, free from federal interference, and that they are not bound by the Dred Scott ruling.

Selected Quote: "It matters not what way the Supreme Court may hereafter decide as to the abstract question whether slavery may or may not go into a territory under the Constitution."

Explanation: This quote from Douglas's speech illustrates his point of view on the Constitution. He is asserting that the future decisions of the Supreme Court regarding slavery's expansion into territories should not dictate the territories' right to exercise popular sovereignty on the issue. Douglas believes that regardless of the Supreme Court's future rulings, the territories should have the authority to decide whether to allow or prohibit slavery based on the will of their residents, as enshrined in the principle of popular sovereignty.

I’m from a rural area so it may not be the answer your looking for but, life in a rural area is kinda… dull.

Though don’t get me wrong I’m very thankful for my life and where I live isn’t that bad a problem. It’s just all you think about is how much better your life could be if you didn’t live here. You constantly think over and over how many better things there are in the city. Sure there are some pros but they don’t out way the cons.

Your constantly getting told to do work for other people as people who are older are more respected tell younger and un-experienced kids what to do so they don’t have to do the work. Not gonna lie, parents are lazy but they do try to do whatever they can. I’m constantly doing work for them but it isn’t as bad as most people thing. You kinda grow up that way you know?

We are almost all religious. There isn’t a gay, an atheist, or any other religion conflict where I live. Not saying it’s bad but most people that live where I live are misunderstood. Most people think we hate gays when in reality that’s more what we think. We think what your doing is wrong sure, but the fact remains that we don’t really care what you do. As what you do doesn’t affect me.

I don’t know, you grow up like this and you treat life a lot different. I guess that’s how everyone works. I know this won’t help and that’s fine. I also know not everyone in rural areas have the same position I’m in. But, I am from a very rural area and just trynna help you understand what life in a rural area is like here in the South. People are migrating to urban areas for many reasons, including agricultural technology, industrial technology, and the hope of changing ones economic circumstances.

Agricultural technology has decreased the need for agricultural workers. Improved transportation, tools, fertilizer, and genetically modified crops mean fewer farmworkers harvest more food. This decreased need for farm employment drives many farmworkers into cities in search of jobs.

Industrial technology has created many jobs unique to urban areas. Developing countries often have resource-based economies, meaning most people make their living from agriculture, timber, mining, or other harvesting of natural resources. These natural resources are most often located in rural areas. As developing countries expand the use of industrial technology, they often shift their focus to a service-based economy. Service-based economies use industrial technology to provide finished goods and services to people inside and outside their countries.

India, for instance, is a country where many people practice agriculture in rural areas. As the Indian economy develops, however, more people migrate to urban areas like Bangalore to work in the technology industry. Instead of providing the raw materials (metals) for computer chips to nations like the United States, Indian companies now manufacture the computer chips themselves.

Centers of learning, such as universities, hospitals, and regional government, are usually located in urban areas. Many rural residents travel to cities to take advantage of economic opportunities there.

The cost of living in urban areas is usually much higher than in rural areas. It costs more to rent a house, buy food, and use transportation. For this reason, wages are usually higher in urban areas. The search for higher wages is another reason people migrate from rural areas.

In the United States, rural areas take up about 98 percent of the country but are home to only 25 percent of the population. In Ethiopia, a less-developed country where agricultural jobs are much more common, 87 percent of the people live in rural areas.
