Oscar Coffin, the first African American, did a lot in his life that left a lasting impact. He was born in 1815 in New York City and died in 1896. Throughout his life, he accomplished numerous things that were previously unattainable to black individuals.
Coffin was a professional tailor, a popular vocation for free black men in the 1800s. Coffin was a leader in the movement to eliminate the "Black Laws" that prohibited African Americans from working as skilled craftsmen and women. Coffin worked as a coachman for New York's Astor family and was one of the most well-known members of the Underground Railroad. Coffin was part of a network of abolitionists who smuggled slaves out of the South and into the North or Canada, where they could live free lives. He personally assisted in the transportation of over a hundred enslaved individuals and was known to be discreet and intelligent.
Coffin was eventually appointed a position in the US government in recognition of his contributions to the abolitionist movement and his strong morals. He was appointed a government inspector of fisheries in the late 1800s and worked in this capacity until his death in 1896. Oscar Coffin was a pioneer in the fight for equality and freedom for African Americans and his contributions were incredibly significant.

Race paragraph on what are the causes of the American revolution.
The road leading up to the American Revolution didn't happen overnight. It took several years and many events to push the colonists to a point where they wanted to fight for their independence.
The American Revolution was a time when the British colonists in America rebelled against the rule of Great Britain. There were many battles fought and the colonies gained their freedom and became the independent country of the United States. The American Revolutionary War lasted from 1775 until 1783.
13 Colonies
Before the American Revolution, there were several British Colonies in the Americas. Not all of them participated in the revolution. There were 13 colonies which ended up rebelling. These were Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Hampshire, New York, and Rhode Island.
Representation
One of the main reasons that the colonists rebelled against Great Britain is that they felt they were not represented in the British government. The British government was making new laws and taxes on the colonies, but the colonies had no say. They wanted to have some say in the British government if they were going to pay high taxes and have to live by British law.
War
War didn't happen right away. First there were protests and arguments. Then some small skirmishes between the colonists and the local British army. Things just got worse and worse over the course of years until the colonies and Great Britain were at war.
Independence
Each colony had its own local government. In 1774 they each elected officials to represent them at the First Continental Congress. This was the first effort of the colonies to unite and make a single government. In 1776 the Second Continental Congress declared the independence of the United States from Great Britain.

Why was nazi ideology considered totalitarian
Answer:
Nazi ideology was considered totalitarian because it sought to control all aspects of society, including politics, economics, culture, and even personal beliefs. The Nazi regime under Adolf Hitler sought to establish a one-party dictatorship in Germany, with absolute control over the media, education, and the legal system. The Nazis also sought to eliminate all opposition, including political opponents, religious groups, and minority populations, through violence, intimidation, and genocide. The regime's goal was to create a "new order" in Europe that would be based on Nazi racial and ideological principles. Johnson’s two civil rights laws are considered to be landmarks in american history?
The two civil rights laws passed by President Lyndon B. Johnson in the 1960s are often considered the most significant pieces of civil rights legislation in American history.
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. It also prohibited unequal application of voting requirements, and gave the federal government the power to enforce desegregation of the public schools and other public facilities.
The Voting Rights Act of 1965 eliminated literacy tests, poll taxes, and other discriminatory voting practices, and provided for federal oversight of elections in states with a history of racially-biased voting rules. These two laws had an enormous impact on the civil rights movement, as they provided a legal framework for the advancement of civil rights, and provided protection from discrimination.
