There are several research methods, if the researcher wants a descriptive research method they can choose between, a case study; which is a process or record of research in which detailed consideration is given to the development of a particular person, group, or situation over a period of time. A survey, which is a research tool used to gather personal information about participants. Can be information concerning thoughts, beliefs, background, or feelings. Naturalistic observation, which is a research tool in which a subject is observed in its natural habitat without any manipulation by the observer. On the other hand, there is also statistical research, which is a set of methods.
