If two electrically charged objects repel one another, which statement must be true? One object has more electrons, and the other has more protons. Electrons will flow from one object to the other when they touch each other. The two objects have the same electric charge. The objects do not have strong electrical fields.

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

The two objects have the same electric charge.

Explanation:

Electrically charged objects repel if they are both of the same charge, ie plus plus or minus minus.

Answer 2

The statement, that describes two electrically charged objects repel one another is "the two objects have the same electric charge."

What is an electric charge?

The feature of subatomic particles that causes them to experience a force when put in an electric and magnetic field is known as electric charge.

When one or more items are electrically charged, electrostatic interactions are widespread. Two items with opposing charges will attract each other.

Unlike the attractive force between two items with opposite charges, two objects with like charges repel each other. In other words, a positively charged object will repel another positively charged object. This repelling force will separate the two items.

Hence the correct answer is the two objects have the same electric charge.

What is most likely to occur during a chemical reaction?
a Molecules of the original substance are lost. b New atoms are created. c The original substance maintains its properties. d Mass is conserved.

Answers

The answer is B, because when something new is being created it is considered to be a chemical change.

During a chemical reaction, the most likely occurring is mass conservation. According to law of conservation of mass, total mass in a reaction is conserved.

What is law of conservation of mass?

According to the law of conservation of mass, the total mass in a chemical reaction or in a physical change is conserved. Simply, mass is neither created nor destroyed.

When a chemical reaction takes place,  no new atoms are created and the properties of the reactant species cannot be maintained after reaction.

Molecules of any reactant is not lost during a reaction. The total mass in the reactant side of a balanced reaction will be equal to the total mass in product side.

Therefore, the mass conservation is likely to occur during a chemical reaction. Thus, option d is correct.

Hey Lenny lately I’ve been having a rough time in the water cycle. It all started when I was chilling in my favorite location the “glaciars” and suddenly the sun turned me into liquid form. Next thing I know I am hurdling down a river straight into a massive lake. Personally this is my least favorite stage of the water cycle because of kids and bacteria that lurk in the water, very scary things. I didn’t stop at the lake very long, and instead sunk into the soil in a process called collection so I could become ground water. Underground reservoir’s are much more peaceful then lakes and I wanted to stay there. However I was forced up a water well pump shortly after and sent through a long tube. Me and couple of the friends I met on the way were all dispersed over a giant grass feild. Many molecules in the group were captured by the hostile plants but I escaped through the means of evaporation. Currently I have condensed into cloud form and I am roaming the skies looking for you, when you get this let me know and I’ll percipitate in your area! 21.8 is at the top of the meniscus, but volume should be measured at the bottom of the meniscus.
Since the lines are only marked with whole numbers, the student must round to a whole number.
Since the whole numbers represent milliliters, the student must use a unit smaller than milliliters.

The answer for this question depends on the type of meniscus in the cylinder. If it is an upright meniscus like in water, the reading should be taken at the bottom of the meniscus. However if it is an inverted meniscus like in mercury, the reading should be taken at the top of the meniscus.

How to know how many electrons are involved in bonding of propane ?

Answers

propane because it has the most molocules and best for airing things out.

In the bonding of propane (\(C_{3}H_{8}\)), there are 18 electrons involved.

You must count the electrons in propane's bonding using its Lewis structure. Propane (\(C_{3}H_{8}\)) has three carbon and eight hydrogen atoms.

How to calculate bonding electrons:

Count the molecule's valence electrons.

Three carbon atoms supply 12 valence electrons since carbon possesses four.

Eight hydrogen atoms contribute 8 valence electrons.

20 valence electrons: 12 (carbon) + 8 (hydrogen).

Single-bond atoms to form the molecule's skeleton.

Propane's skeleton is H-C-C-C-H.

To complete atom octets, distribute leftover electrons.

Start by bonding each carbon atom to the surrounding hydrogen atom with two electrons.

Distribute the remaining electrons to satisfy the carbon and hydrogen octet rule.

Count bonding electrons.

Each bond has two electrons—one from each bonding atom. Propane has nine C-H bonds, therefore bonding electrons total: 18 electrons from 9 C-H bonds.

The piece of evidence changed thinking about the channel on Mars because it shows that the rock was formed next to flowing water as such rock formations exist on Earth and were formed by flowing water.

Was there flowing water on Mars ?

The geologic process that could have created the channel on Mars is water moving. We can infer from the image that water running across the terrain on Mars created channels similar to those on Earth.

We can claim that the flowing of water creates the channels on Mars because when the water runs for a long period from the same region, it takes the sediments and creates channels.

What is the Charles law?

The Charles, Boyle's and Gay - Lussac's laws are applied here.

We know that;

From Gay Lussa law

\(P_{1}\)/\(T_{1}\) = \(P_{2}\)/\(T_{2}\)

\(P_{2}\) = 1.21 * 450/315

\(P_{2}\) = 1.72 atm

From Charles's law

\(V_{1}\)/\(T_{1}\) = \(V_{2}\)/\(T_{2}\)

\(T_{2}\)    = 4.8 * 495/2.7

\(T_{2}\)= 880 k

From Boyle's law

\(P_{1}\)\(V_{1}\)= \(P_{2}\)\(V_{2}\)

\(P_{2}\) = 7.14 * 1.9/12.0

\(P_{2}\) = 1.13 atm

From the general gas law;

\(V_{2}\) = 2.1 * 6.9 * 291/1.8 * 400

\(V_{2}\) = 4216.59/720

\(V_{2}\) = 5.9 L

From Gay Lussa law

\(P_{1}\)/\(T_{1}\) = \(P_{2}\)/\(T_{2}\)

\(P_{2}\)  = 315.2 * 145/273

= 167.4 kPa
